Recycled Water DIGSAFE® Non-Detectable Warning Tape

Lilac warning tape for buried recycled-water services—a clear message before the excavator reaches the service.

Once the trench closes, the recycled-water pipe disappears from view. Leave a lilac warning above it for the next crew to find. Choose DIGSAFE® Mains Marker — Recycled Water where the project calls for a non-detectable visual warning above a buried recycled-water service. Lilac virgin-grade PE film carries a repeated black recycled water warning. Lead-free pigments and stated soil tolerance suit burial; the tape warns when exposed, but does not create a traceable path.

At a glance

  • Lilac/black warning tape to identify a buried recycled-water service
  • 100 mm × 250 m roll format
  • Tapex states the tape is made to AS/NZS 2648.1:1995 and AS/NZS 4275 Part 0:1995
  • Virgin-grade PE film with lead-free pigments; stated soil tolerance pH 2.5–11.0
  • Visual warning only—use a suitable tracer or detectable system where locating capability is required

Features

  • Lilac above. Recycled water below.

Lilac film and a repeated black warning make the buried recycled-water service easy to recognise when excavation reaches the tape.

  • Built for life in the soil

Virgin-grade polyethylene, lead-free pigments and a stated pH range of 2.5–11.0 give you clear material details to check against the job.

  • Warning, without pretending to locate

The tape gives a visual warning when uncovered; it does not add a conductor for electronic tracing.

Lilac above. Recycled water below.

The recycled water variant gives the trench a service-specific colour and warning message before backfill. Install it above the buried service to the project and asset-owner requirements so it can provide a clear visual warning during later excavation.

Built for life in the soil

Tapex specifies virgin-grade PE film, lead-free pigments and soil tolerance from pH 2.5 to pH 11.0. That gives specifiers and installers a defined material and soil range without turning a simple warning tape into a bigger claim than the data supports.

Warning, without pretending to locate

Use DIGSAFE® Mains Marker where a non-detectable warning layer suits the project. If the service cannot otherwise be located—or the specification calls for a traceable warning layer—pair the installation with a suitable tracer system or choose a detectable warning tape.
