How to choose the right roll for any role

  • Choose by warning message

The wording does the heavy lifting. Match the legend to the hazard, restriction or work activity people need to understand.

  • Choose by colour and pattern

Colour and pattern affect how quickly the boundary stands out. Choose the combination that fits the message and your site requirements.

  • Choose by roll size

Roll length and width affect coverage and how often the crew needs a fresh roll. Choose to suit the boundary and the variant required.

Choose by warning message

Use a printed legend when the message needs to be explicit — such as CAUTION, DANGER, CAUTION DO NOT ENTER, CHARGED FACE, maintenance in progress or asbestos dust. Use striped tape when a clear visual boundary is enough. If the standard range does not cover the message, Tapex offers customised safety warning tape.

Choose by colour and pattern

The range includes yellow/black, red/white and blue/white printed variants, plus red/white and black/yellow diagonal stripes. Match the colour and pattern to the legend, hazard category or site convention your project requires rather than choosing on colour alone.

Choose by roll size

The current range spans 50m, 60m and 100m rolls, predominantly at 75mm wide, with a 100mm black/yellow striped option also listed. Choose the roll size around the length of boundary you need to mark and the warning legend available in that format.
