The connectors are made from polyester braided rope loops, knotted at one end. The connectors are strong but will elongate under load before breaking, so several plates will be lifted from the ground before the connectors fail. They will be blue or black. They will be packed separately from the plates, 120 connectors to a carton, bundled in fours. The connectors have a spliced loop at one end, designed to slip over the knotted end and then pulled tight.
